Second (Spring 1939) of just three issues published of this UK sf pulp 1938-1939. This issue includes stories by John Russell Fearn, Eric Frank Russell and John Wyndham (writing as ''John Beynon'').
''UK Pulp magazine published by George Newnes Ltd, edited by T Stanhope Sprigg as a companion to his highly successful Air Stories. It saw three undated issues released in Summer 1938 and Spring and Summer 1939. Its material, though now badly dated, was typical of the stereotypical pulp fiction of the day and included work by John Wyndham as ''John Beynon Harris'', John Russell Fearn, Eric Frank Russell and the ageing George C Wallis. Its covers were by Serge Drigin who had painted most of the covers for Air Stories - and other contributors to that pulp, notably J E Gurdon, also tried their hand at science fiction. Sprigg was interested in developing sf in Britain, but the Second World War intervened and the magazine ceased'' (Mike Ashley/Encyclopedia of SF, 3rd Edition).
