Limited to 55 numbered copies. 24 page booklet: the black mirror, mythological incarnation of a certain type of communication between distinct spheres of reality, was represented in artistic terms in many ways. The Argentine writer Leopoldo Lugones, celebrated by Jorge Luis Borges as one of its precursors, presented in his short story - El Espejo Negro - a disturbing, fresh mode to represent the black mirror, close to science fiction. This fantastic piece, translated from Spanish, is the second chapbook in the Raphus Press series ''Golden Age of Clairvoyance''. Lugone’s BLACK MIRROR is introduced by an imaginary profile, a meditation on Lugone’s political views entitled ''Sources of Theophany'', an Alcebiades Diniz Miguel creation, and an exquisite gallery of images.

''Raphus Press is a publishing house inspired by the private press from the turn of the nineteenth to the twentieth century, decentered - one axis in Latin America, the other in Europe - whose central focus is the translation of short-form works, little known, outside the usual canon. The translations are accompanied by unusual pieces of fiction as well as galleries of images from the public domain - this material establishes a dialogue with the translated texts, enhancing the impact of these original works on the contemporary reader.
